CONWAY, S.C. (WMBF) – Coastal Carolina University has canceled the commencement ceremony scheduled for Friday.
CCU officials said due to potential lightning strikes, the 9 a.m. ceremony at Brooks Stadium has been canceled.
“The safety of our graduates, their friends and family members, and the University community is a priority. The college recognition ceremonies in the HTC Center will proceed as scheduled, officials said.”…
