Work is underway at the site of the future Costco store in Yorkville, located near Route 34, East Countryside Parkway, and McHugh Road. Construction equipment is now on-site, with the company aiming for a November opening.
Costco officially purchased the property last month, following several months of negotiations with Yorkville City Hall. Discussions included approval of a site plan, a special use permit, and a sales tax incentive agreement.
