Details from a post on the Los Angeles Airport Police Instagram account reveal that LAXPD officers located the stolen vehicle as it was traveling eastbound on Century Blvd. at Avion Drive. Realizing they had been spotted by the police, the suspects abandoned the car and fled towards the H Hotel on Century Blvd. LAXPD quickly disseminated descriptions of the suspects and called for backup to secure a perimeter.
