Trader Joe’s is officially opening a store in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It will be located at 115 Sayebrook Parkway within Sayebrook Town Center, a growing shopping destination anchored by Target. This announcement marks a major win for locals, many of whom have spent years hoping for a Trader Joe’s along the Grand Strand.
The store will occupy approximately 13,000 square feet and is part of a $1.7 million construction project. No official opening date has been released, but the site is listed as “Coming Soon” on the company’s website. When it opens, this will be the fifth Trader Joe’s in South Carolina, joining locations in Columbia, Greenville, Mount Pleasant, and Charleston.
Sayebrook Town Center sits near the intersection of Highway 17 and Dick Pond Road, offering easy access for shoppers from Myrtle Beach and nearby Surfside Beach. The retail complex includes national brands, restaurants, and a large parking lot designed to support heavy foot traffic.
From Wooded Land to Retail Destination
