Montgomery, Tx ( FOX44 ) – One man died and two other people injured Wednesday night when a car crashed head on into a fire truck in Montgomery.
Early reports indicate it happened about 11 P.M. on State Highway 105 as a fire truck was traveling west and a Volkswagen going east went over the center median and crashed into the truck head on. A woman who was the driver of the car was trapped for a short time before being extricated and transported to a hospital with what were believed to be critical injuries. A male passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene. A Montgomery County officer on the scene had started life saving efforts on that male passenger.
One firefighter received non life threatening injuries…
