BOISE, Idaho — Law enforcement from across the state gathered Thursday in Meridian to honor Idaho’s 77 officers who have died in the line of duty at the annual Idaho Peace Officers’ Memorial Ceremony.
This year’s remembrance carried extra significance as the name of Ada County Sheriff’s Deputy Tobin Bolter was added to the memorial. Bolter, killed during a routine traffic stop last spring, is the first Ada County deputy to be included on the memorial wall.
