FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WTHI) – A Fort Wayne man has been sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to wire fraud related to a fraudulent Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan.
Ivory Hill, 44, was sentenced to 24 months’ probation, including 10 months of location monitoring, and ordered to pay $23,332 in restitution, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
Prosecutors said Hill falsely claimed to own an auto sales business and reported $102,000 in income when applying for the federal loan, which was intended to help small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. In reality, no such business existed…
