Victim’s widow, bar patron sue The Pint House after deadly 2024 shooting

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The widow of a man killed in a Knoxville bar shooting, along with a person who was hurt, has filed a multi-million-dollar lawsuit, court records show.

Ruby Goosie, along with Courtney Cecelia, are suing The Pint House, its security providers, one suspect and the estate of another suspect involved in the shooting, according to court records.

The lawsuit comes nearly a year after John Goosie, a 41-year-old, was shot and killed alongside Zachery Herrera, a 28-year-old, outside The Pint House on Merchant Drive on July 2, 2024…
