Townhome set on fire, causes over $250k worth of damage, MFD says

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Fire Department has confirmed that a fire was set in a vacant townhome, and it caused thousands of dollars in damage.

According to MFD, two fires were set in a vacant townhome on Rainwood Drive, one in the upstairs bedroom and one in the living room.

The fire spread to the neighboring vacant townhome as well; combined, both the neighboring townhomes suffered over $250,000 in damages to the properties…
