California suspects used power saw to swipe city park sign in gang-related theft

SAN JOSÉ — Four San José residents, including two juveniles, have been arrested in connection with the gang-related theft of a city park sign at Nisich Park, according to the San José Police Department (SJPD).

The crime occurred on the evening of January 5, 2025, when suspects were caught on video using a handheld saw to remove a city-owned sign while shouting gang threats. The incident took place at Nisich Park, located in South San José.
