Teen Called 22-Stab Killing “Hella Fun” in Journal

A 14-year-old Minnesota boy has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a man 22 times and then documenting the killing in a journal where he bragged about having “hella fun” during the attack, according to Law & Crime. The juvenile, identified only by initials J.C., faces second-degree murder charges alongside 17-year-old Jeremy Joe Davila in the March 31 killing of 19-year-old Jay’Mier Keymari Givens in St. Paul’s Dayton’s Bluff neighborhood.

Investigators discovered the disturbing journal entries after police arrested the teen at his temporary foster home on May 1. The teen’s foster parents had given him the notebook to express his anxieties after noticing concerning behavior, unwittingly providing authorities with critical evidence in the case.
