ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A sweet dog named Amelia is in search of a loving home after she underwent a unique journey to safety.
Following the recent passing of her owner, Amelia found herself in a shelter in the eastern part of the state, where she sat for weeks without any interest from potential adopters. In response to this, the shelter reached out to the nonprofit organization Shelter Dog Transportation Alliance for assistance.
