Police release another photo of North Charleston woman missing since February

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – North Charleston Police investigators have released a second photo of a woman who disappeared more than two months ago.

Investigators now say 44-year-old Marchette Chandler was last seen near the Maxway and old DSS building on Dorchester Road on Feb. 26.

When police initially reported her as a missing person, investigators believed she had last been seen in front of her Clifton Street home at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Feb. 16, police spokesman Harve Jacobs said.

Chandler is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds. She has short black braids and light hazel eyes. Chandler was last seen wearing a teal bonnet, a gray shirt saying “Good Morning” on it, a black sweater, blue jeans and navy blue shoes with white laces…
