(TNS) — Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools has alerted staff members and families of students to be on the lookout for threatening messages from people who say they have information that was obtained during the PowerSchool data breach that impacted school districts across the country.
As of Thursday morning, the school district had not heard of any such messages being sent to people in the school system’s community. N.C. Department of Public Instruction said on Wednesday that some employees in the state’s public school system have received the messages.
