KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. — Knox County veterans sleeping on the streets may soon have a new opportunity to find housing, after Mayor Glenn Jacobs announced a new project during his weekly update on social media Friday.
The mayor said the project would build a “tiny home village” for homeless veterans. He spoke about the project while discussing the county budget, and noted that it did not call for any increase to property taxes.
