Wrong turn by police led to Josh Sullivan’s rescue from South Africa, Maryville pastor says

MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – A pastor, born and raised here in East Tennessee, has returned home from South Africa. This comes after the Maryville missionary was kidnapped at gunpoint, held for ransom and rescued during a shootout with South African police.

Josh Sullivan, his wife Meagan, and their children have lived in South Africa for seven years. They have been there, setting up a church and spreading the word of God.
