LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A man trying to bring a new business to Louisville is fighting an uphill battle with the people who own his building.
Deron Hayden, also known as Chef Hayden Taylor Towns, has been hoping to open his own barbecue restaurant where the Ole Hickory Pit Bar-B-Que used to be. However, he says the owners want him gone.
Hayden said it all started after he put in the work to renovate the building. After renovations were complete, he said the landlord tried to kick him out. He then took legal action to stay put and since then, he said he’s faced constant harassment…
