SACRAMENTO – Caltrans has announced an extended 55-hour closure of the Stockton Boulevard off-ramp (Exit 7) from westbound U.S. Highway 50, beginning 10 p.m. Friday, May 9 through 5 a.m. Monday, May 12, as part of the ongoing $529 million “Fix50” Multimodal Corridor Enhancement Project.
The closure, required for concrete pavement replacement and slab work at 39th Street, will not affect the Stockton Boulevard on-ramp to westbound US 50, which remains open.
Motorists should expect delays, lane restrictions, and reduced speed limits in the Sacramento construction zone. Detours via Capital City Freeway and 29th Street are advised. Caltrans and CHP will monitor the area for safety.…
