CORALVILLE, Iowa (KCRG) – When Anne Thomas initially entered the doors of the University of Iowa Health Network Rehabilitation Hospital, she was in a wheelchair. That’s because a week prior, she suffered a stroke with serious side effects.
Her main goal coming in was to eventually walk again. That simple goal soon turned into other aspirations she had never considered before. Many of which she thanks the staff for.
