Shots fired near Northeast DC school, no injuries reported as investigation underway

WASHINGTON (7News) — Shots were fired not far from a Northeast DC school Friday afternoon, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Officials said they were called to the 4000 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast, just a block away from Friendship Collegiate Academy and several blocks from Chevy Chavez Public Charter School.
