Akron residents learn about Innerbelt Master Plan and discuss history at community event

Community members joined the Akron Innerbelt Master Plan team for an open community meal and conversation to discuss Akron history and the Innerbelt .

“Patience, learning, hope” were some responses from Akron residents when community coordinator Ebony Hill asked why they were attending. Around 20 residents attended the May 8 meeting at Reach Opportunity Center at Summit Lake to get a better understanding of what could happen to land from the decommissioned Innerbelt and the corridor.
