Man Released from Jail Rearrested for Attempting to Break into Vehicles in the Employee Parking Lot

SAN BERNARDINO, CA — A 36-year-old transient, Manuel Nunez-Palomino, was arrested for attempted vehicle burglary on May 9, 2025, just hours after being released from the Central Detention Center on E. Rialto Avenue, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

Nunez-Palomino, who had been detained earlier for a misdemeanor traffic warrant, was captured on security cameras trying to enter several vehicles in the employee parking lot, according to the sheriff.
