Texas Weather Update: Triple-Digit Temperatures and Storm Chances by Midweek

Fort Worth, Texas – Triple-digit heat is set to return to Texas next week, with much of the region experiencing scorching temperatures starting Wednesday. Highs will soar above 100°F, especially in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, as temperatures are expected to peak at 100°F by Wednesday afternoon. Storm chances will also return by Friday, potentially affecting the state through the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, the heat will intensify early in the week, with highs hitting 93°F on Tuesday before reaching 100°F by Wednesday. Along with the high heat, there is a 30% chance of storms by Friday, which could bring some relief from the sweltering temperatures.
