PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man is dead and three other adults are hospitalized after a crash along a major road in Maryvale Friday evening.
The crash happened around 6:45 p.m. near 78th Avenue and Indian School Road. When officers arrived, they found four people injured, three of whom had non-life-threatening injuries. The fourth person, identified as a man, was rushed with critical injuries, and later died at the hospital.
Traffic is shut down in all four directions in the area and is expected to remain closed for the next several hours as an investigation takes place.
At this point, it’s unclear if speed or alcohol are factors in the crash. Police expect to provide more information on Saturday…
