SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Sevier County has opened a new $5 million animal shelter that’s been seven years in the making.
The county held a ribbon cutting for the shelter Friday morning.
This is a joint project by the county and cities in Sevier County to take in strays and hoarding cases. They now have extra space to grow and a community pet food center for those who may need help feeding their animals.
