The Village of Caseyville Regular Board meeting happened on May 7, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. With over 33 participants on the Zoom Meeting and a conference room full of well wishers for the new village administration and supporters of the outgoing village administration.
Call to Order was brought forth by outgoing Mayor G.W. Scott. The Pledge of Allegiance and Roll Call brought the meeting to order.
At approximately 7:04 p.m Mayor Kent Luebbers was sworn in as Mayor of the Village of Caseyville. He spoke to the board and the citizens that they aren’t turning the city upside down and they normal function was still taking place. He updated everyone that he and Brian are meeting with the owner of a new truck stop going in off 64 and 157. They hope that is will be the beginning of positive businesses investing in Caseyville. Mike Wagner is the newly appointed village attorney. His wife owns A to Z pediatrics at Tanglewood Parkway. Trustees Ron Sanftleben, and John Buckley voted present to Luebbers choice.
