A local man has been taken into custody and faces serious allegations of child grooming. Court documents reveal that Patrick Hernandez, 67, has been accused of systematically targeting a juvenile female within his own family, starting in late 2023. As per the arrest affidavit, obtained by FOX San Antonio, the minor communicated her distress over Hernandez’s actions to both a relative and a school counselor.
The chilling details unveiled by the court records, shared by News 4 San Antonio, lay bare the suspect’s alleged pattern of behavior where he reportedly made frequent unwanted physical contact with the child. Hernandez is also said to have made advances that were both inappropriate and unwarranted, at times suggesting sexual involvement under different circumstances. The accused would describe these advances as “repayment for gifts” he had given.
