‘Flock Cancer’ celebrates fifth annual street stroll

BOISE, Idaho — About 1,200 people gathered on Saturday for the fifth annual “Flock Cancer Street Stroll,” a celebration honoring breast cancer survivors, and an event that promotes breast cancer awareness while raising funds for diagnostic and screening care for women in the Treasure Valley.

The event took place along Harrison Boulevard in Boise, with participants free to stroll the one-mile loop at their own pace between 10 a.m. and noon. Unlike traditional fundraisers, the event has no start or finish line, allowing people to begin wherever they choose and proceed clockwise around the boulevard.
