AKRON , Ohio (WJW) — A man died after a stabbing Saturday night, and police say the suspect and the victim knew each other.
Berea police announce unexpected death of ‘valued’ officer
Officers responded to the 1600 block of Cromwell Dr. around 8:11 p.m. where they located a 52-year-old man with critical injuries, according to a news release from the Akron Police Department.
The victim, who wasn’t named by police, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
“The suspect, who is known to the victim, fled the scene after the incident,” police wrote in the news release.
