Wet Weather Sticks around into the Beginning of the Workweek

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – It has been a soggy and at times stormy weekend across the Chattahoochee Valley. This evening and tonight expect a dip in the rain, before rain and storms return during the overnight timeframe. We are under the 1/5 risk for severe weather from the Storm Prediction Center Sunday and Monday. Our main concern will be some storms producing pockets of gusty winds, and while the tornado risk is very low, it is not zero. We do not expect widespread severe weather, but don’t be caught off guard if during the overnight hours you hear rumbles of thunder.
