Thomasville is now home to a cutting-edge outdoor fitness space, thanks to the National Fitness Campaign. Located in the heart of downtown at the Central Recreation Campus (205 E. Main St.), the new Fitness Court is officially open and free for public use.
The addition puts Thomasville on the map alongside over 500 communities across the country participating in what the Campaign calls “America’s Largest Public-Private Wellness Partnership.” With more than $100 million raised in public and private funds nationwide, the initiative aims to combat obesity and sedentary lifestyles by offering accessible fitness infrastructure, and Thomasville is now part of that mission…
