Huntsville, Alabama – Thunderstorms will roll through North Alabama on Monday, threatening travel near Huntsville with heavy downpours and 20 mph wind gusts.
According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, a 70% chance of storms will develop between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., then intensify into afternoon thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Some storms could bring gusty winds and brief flooding, especially near US-72, I-565, and low-lying roads across Madison and Limestone counties.
