(Mix 93-1) As a kid, I had a dream, at one time, of being a police officer. My neighborhood friends would ride our bikes up and down the street playing cops and robbers. We’d give out speeding tickets, make arrests, do some detective work, and always catch the bad guy.
I also had dreams of being a radio personality, and look what dream won out, my radio dream. But that doesn’t mean I still didn’t want to be a police officer. A main reason I was interested in both jobs was because of their proximity to the public and the interaction that comes with it.
Police officers meet some very interesting people and interact with them in some very interesting situations. Officers are often very compassionate, but turn very serious when it comes to people breaking the law…
