HOPE MILLS — Hope Mills Mayor Jessie Bellflowers fielded questions and frustrations from residents May 8 at the second “Let’s Talk It Out” session, where tensions flared around development decisions, traffic congestion and a growing sense of distrust between citizens and their elected officials.
Bellflowers held the inaugural “Let’s Talk It Out” on April 17, at which meeting the plans for a new parks and recreation center on the golf course dominated the conversation.
