Man charged with breaking into Robertsdale city vehicles, stealing tools

ROBERTSDALE, Ala. (WALA) – A 36-year-old man was arrested and booked into jail in Baldwin County over the weekend in the investigation into crimes last month at the City of Robertsdale Water Treatment Plant, according to police.

An accomplice remains at large, police said.

According to Robertsdale police, the plant was trespassed on and six city vehicles were broken into on April 12. Various tools and construction materials were stolen from the vehicles, and on-site pump mechanisms were damaged and their wiring stripped, police said.

Investigators identified John Dherin-Bell and James Thomas Morgan as suspects. Dherin-Bell was taken into custody Saturday, and Morgan remains at large, police said…
