SMITHFIELD — Johnston County Commissioners on May 5 backed another spec industrial building.
The decision came after county industry recruiter Chris Johnson told commissioners that his office had missed out on 25 chances to attract jobs and investment so far this year. “And the reason for that is that we don’t have available product,” he said.
