NEW ORLEANS — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car early Monday morning on Airline Highway, according to New Orleans police.
Officers said the crash happened shortly before 5:45 a.m. near the intersection of Airline Highway and Eagle Street in the Dixon neighborhood. Investigators said a man was crossing the highway when he was hit by a northbound 2021 Dodge driven by an adult male.
