Kalamazoo to repurpose former brewery site to consolidate water treatment plants

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A southwestern Kalamazoo space that once housed Brite Eyes Brewing Co. will soon be repurposed.

Monday, the Kalamazoo City Commission approved a $335,000 purchase agreement with Burdick Crosstown LLC for two neighboring properties on South Burdick Street, including the former brewing company.

This comes just under six months after Brite Eyes Brewing closed their doors on Nov. 23, 2024 following over nine years of business.
