Blanket-wearing bank robber sought after armed California heist; Photos released of shrouded suspect

SANTA ROSA, CA — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance after a suspect robbed the Exchange Bank in Montgomery Village on Saturday morning, May 10, 2025, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.

Santa Rosa Police say the robbery occurred at approximately 9:33 a.m. at 2416 Montgomery Drive.

According to SRPD, a tall, slender man wrapped in a lavender-colored blanket entered the bank, pointed a handgun at a teller, and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
