Maryland State Police: Driver arrested for backing into police cruiser, fleeing

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A man was charged on Monday after he struck a police car and drove off overnight, the Maryland State Police (MSP) said.

Shortly after 1:30 a.m. on May 12, MSP said a trooper was in his unmarked patrol vehicle along Route 50, working an assignment for the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration.
