LUCAS COUNTY, Ohio — Ready to flex your green thumb? Northwest Ohio gardeners will have a one-day chance to buy native plants, garden supplies and composting tools during a spring sale Friday.
The Native Plant Sale is hosted by the Lucas Soil & Water Conservation District and is free to attend and family-friendly. The one-day event will feature food trucks, information and resources, as well as a variety of items for sale.
In addition to locally-grown native plants, attendees can purchase rain barrels, composting kits, soil test kits, birdhouses and garden signs. New offerings include Native Pollinator Garden Kits, vegetable and bedding plants. Compost pre-orders from GoZERO can also be picked up during the event…
