Bot Auto’s driverless fleet prepares for Texas debut with technology that never gets tired

HOUSTON — Houston-based Bot Auto is preparing to launch autonomous 18-wheelers on Texas highways, with the first driverless trucks expected to transport goods between Houston and San Antonio as early as this summer.

The company recently briefed officials at Houston’s Transtar about their upcoming operations, emphasizing the safety benefits of their autonomous technology. Currently, Bot Auto trucks are making trips between Houston and San Antonio, but with human drivers still behind the wheel. This is expected to change within weeks.
