New laws change Arkansas education system | What we know

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — New laws are shaking up Arkansas’s education system, and with major changes on the horizon, state leaders are already laying the groundwork for the next school year.

“These changes span from early learning through K–12 and postsecondary education,” Education Secretary Jacob Oliva said. “It’s all high-quality work, and it’s something we now look forward to implementing.”
