Two people were found dead inside a Mounds View townhome Sunday evening after officers responded to a welfare check.
Just before 8 p.m. on May 11, Mounds View officers were dispatched to the 5200 block of Greenwood Drive after a 911 caller requested officers check on two people at the residence. Officers arrived and observed a man through a window, lying on the floor with blood visible on his face and shirt, showing no signs of movement.
Given the apparent trauma and lack of response from the man, officers forced entry into the home to check for additional victims. Inside, they discovered another person deceased…
