3 restaurants host “Passport to the World” event this summer

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Three restaurants in downtown Sioux Falls are serving up food from around the world this summer.

Parker’s Bistro, Club David and Dada Gastropub are hosting a “Passport to the World” cuisine series from May to September. Over the course of five weekends, the three restaurants will feature food, culture and music from 15 different countries.

The first weekend is May 23-24. Parker’s Bistro’s theme will be Beirut, Lebanon with “aromatic dishes and cocktails.” Dada will be serving up “reggae vibes and tropic delights” from Kingston, Jamaica and Club David will have Japanese food and sake from Tokyo.

Attendees will pick up a brochure each month from one of the venues to collect stamps and stories related to the cities. The event is free…
