BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Josh Holloway was ready to say yes to J.J. Abrams before he even heard the pitch by the Emmy-winning producer for his new television series. That reaction dates back to 2005 when Abrams’ series “Lost” made Holloway a star.
“So, J.J. called, and I was like yes. The answer’s yes. Whatever it is you’re asking, I’m in. So, it’s just exciting to have anyone of that caliber artistically calling you for something,” Holloway says.
What Abrams pitched was “Duster,” a series set in the early 1970s in the Southwest. Holloway plays Jim, a right-hand man to the local crime boss who is convinced by a determined young FBI agent (Rachel Hilson) to become a confidential informant.
