CINCINNATI (WKRC) – There is the potential for severe weather in the Cincinnati area, with increasing signals of a threat from Thursday night into early Saturday morning.
The Storm Prediction Center has placed areas along and west of I-71 in a level 2 threat while areas east are in a level 1 for Thursday, indicating that scattered severe storms are possible. There is significant uncertainty about how the severe weather threat will evolve. The timing of any storms that may develop appears to be late Thursday afternoon or evening.
Damaging winds are the primary threat but there will be a hail and small tornado threat.
