The body of a man was found near a creek in San Mateo on Monday afternoon, police said.
Police received a call from a passerby regarding the man found at the rear of the 1600 block of East Third Avenue at 1:52 p.m, officials said. The department’s criminal investigations bureau is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
