Pender Co. Utilities notifies customers of delays after billing vendor shuts down

PENDER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – Pender County Utilities’ (PCU) third-party billing vendor has unexpectedly shut down, according to a release from the county.

PCU is notifying customers of delays in their bill deliveries after the May 9 closure came without warning.

The billing services have been transferred to a new, out-of-state provider and PCU is working to establish communication with the new vendor…
