Chase Sinzer and Joshua Pinksy, the team behind fellow East Village spots Claud and Penny, have filed liquor license paperwork for a potential new concept. They are seeking to open a new wine bar called Cache on the ground floor at 139 East 12th Street.
The spot was last home to taco spot Tacombi, which closed in September.
The proposed food menu for Cache includes small plates like bread, marinated artichokes, robiola, coppa and roasted peppers, and fennel salad.
